Napping and resting are not bringing healing

You realise that the quality of rest that you are able to achieve is not on the level that allows you to heal. I am Roxanna, a health coach with my own personal journey of healing my own nervous system after 8 years of being bed bound with CFS/ Lyme Disease. I help people with CFS & long covid to recover their energy so they can do the work they love, accomplish their goals and live a normal life again.

Introducing Compassionate Body Listening

A comprehensive program of support to help you learn to regulate your nervous system, combining nervous system education with a unique method that draws on your body's internal wisdom to provide the guidance you need in each moment to create regulation and finally get the rest you need to recover your health.

You will be learning to create an inner environment of safety and bring regulation to your nervous system with your own compassionate presence.

You can expect to experience a reduction in your symptoms, a greater sense of empowerment and control, and better emotional regulation. 

It is important to continue any advised medical treatment, nutritional support that helps your digestive system, or any other interventions that are positively impacting your health.

 

*Long Covid/ CFS exhibits bio-chemical changes in multiple systems of the body. Working with the nervous system can bring about dramatic changes, but your body can also be supported by medical interventions such as dietary changes to help reduce inflammation and immune system support for opportunistic infections, such as EBV or Lyme disease. I always recommend continuing with any medical treatment that is helping you.

Why this course helps

Many people in a state of chronic disease and fatigue experience a nervous system that is in a state of dysregulation. It can feel like you can never get the rest you need and that you are constantly revved up and overstimulated or frozen/ shut down and unable to regulate and find calm in your nervous system.

This can keep your body stuck in dysfunctional homeostasis, with high inflammation, immune system dysfunction and an elevated cell danger response, and experiencing a host of symptoms that can range from extreme tiredness (fatigue), digestive issues, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, muscle aches, chest pain/ tightness, joint pain, tinnitus, earaches, nausea, elevated temperature, insomnia, brain fog and neurological symptoms such as elevated sensitivity to light, smell and physical touch, as well as histamine intolerance. As your life is taken over by these debilitating symptoms, your life gets smaller and smaller.

This course addresses your state of dysregulation. You learn what is happening in your nervous system when you're dysregulated, what happens specifically when you crash and how to create regulation alongside your dysregulation, which is the exact route out of dysregulation.

You will learn to recognize the different states in your autonomic landscape and the steps you can take to create regulation again. You will not only learn nervous system education, but you will build a positive relationship with your own inner authority to access the guidance you need from your body as to what it needs in each moment to come back to regulation.

With consistency and practice your skill to address your dysregulation will build. You will build cues of safety by strenghening and reaching out for regulating experiences and reduce your cues of danger by learning to recognize when your nervous system is dysregulated and take steps to create regulation.

At first, your level of dysregulation may be intense as well as the symptoms. But as you learn to recognize and tend to your nervous system, creating micro moments of regulation alongside your dysregulation, your regulation builds and gradually creates a critical mass to the point where your symptoms reduce and the fatigue lifts, because your regulation outweighs the dysregulation. 

It can take around 4 months to see results, but that is dependent upon how consistently this method can be implemented. For some people it takes longer because it's necessary to work through blocks and resistance towards listening to your body and reducing fear of the symptoms and dysregulation.

Whatever amount of time it takes, every step in the process of learning is a necessary step towards regulation. We work through our blocks and resistance towards being present to our own guidance. It's not a linear or perfect process. And that is totally okay. Each step in the process of coming back to regulation is so worthwhile.

This course is for you if:

  • You are working with other medical practitioners and recognise that nervous system support could help to support your healing path.

  • You would like to be in a supportive container with other like minded people who are also seeking to recover from CFS/ Long Covid.

  • You are willing to invest in your recovery and are open to your personal development and doing your own inner work

  • You have enough internal resources to be able to work with the power of your heart to address your nervous system. *This course is not designed to address complex trauma, that is beyond the scope of this program. This is specifically designed for the dysregulation of the nervous system often experienced by people with CFS/ Long Covid/ burnout.

  • This method provides tools which can eventually be used to address complex trauma, however, if you suffer from complex trauma, I strongly recommend focusing on building regulation first before addressing your trauma, so that you have the physical resources to be able to process complex trauma. In my personal journey and also having seen others go through recovery, we need a baseline of physical capacity and enough internal resources to be able to process complex trauma. We can recover sufficiently without addressing complex trauma directly and it can even be a hinderance to recovery if attempted before there is a baseline of physical strength.

Pricing & Meeting Times

The next round of this course will start in August with a two week holiday break and returning in the first week of September.

We will meet on a day and time that I'm available and the majority of participants who've signed up can meet. This will be arranged by a poll.

For people in Central European Time Zones, we usually meeting in the evening between 7-9pm.


I am based in Europe, so for those in American time zones, we will meet morning PST or afternoon EST.

Recordings will always be provided.

Option 1: 1 90-120 minute meeting per month over 12 months. The pricing for this is 147 Euros per month.

Option 2: 2 90-120 minute meetings per month over 6 months. The pricing for this is 294 Euros per month.

 

FAQs

How big are the group sizes? 
 

I limit groups to 15-20 people maximum. Depending on the time of year and time zone, I will run smaller groups

 

What’s included in the monthly package?

Option 1:

I will provide one 90-120 min session and 1 week of integration support following the 90 minute session on WhatsApp. 

Option 2:

I will provide two 90-120 min sessions and 2 weeks of integration support following each 90 minute session on WhatsApp. 

 

What will we learn in the course?

During the course we will learn polyvagal theory applied to CFS, so that you can understand what’s happening when you crash and learn to recognize your different nervous system states. You will learn about your patterns of survival and patterns of safety and comfort, with the aim of reducing your cues of danger and increasing your cues of safety.

 

You will also learn my signature compassionate body listening method to consult your body’s wisdom and deepest authority on what will help you regulate your nervous system and gradually heal your dysregulation so that you can stop crashing and increase your baseline. 

Every little stepping stone your body is calling will bring you back to regulation, allowing your body to heal and eliminate your symptoms.

 

What if I’ve been sick for many years?

It doesn’t matter how dysregulated you’ve become or how intense your symptoms are, your nervous system has the innate capacity to regulate itself. Through the course we will gradually learn to recognize and hone this capacity by becoming informed and aware of our autonomic landscape and learn to create regulation, even in the context of intense symptoms and dysregulation.

In fact, the only way forward is to learn to create safety and regulation alongside danger and dysregulation.

As you learn to recognize your nervous system reactions and patterns, this demystifies the symptoms and helps with your mindset and taking care of yourself in a way that creates regulation, no matter how sick you’ve become.
